I’m a girl in the Baltimore suburbs with a not so tiny kitchen, a thirty year old Bernina 801 (thanks Mom, it’s a workhorse) and a 1964 Singer Featherweight. I have a passion for baking and a not so new found love for quilting, hence the blog name.  This is a space for my work, my musings, favorite recipes and other things I like.

I started this blog in 2012 living in a South Philadelphia row home with a teeny tiny kitchen and a drive to start quilting because I had my first nephew on the way. I wanted to sew, quilt, make him things. I was officially bitten by the quilting bug in August 2012 and have not looked back!

Feel free to contact me at andpins.handmande (at) gmail (dot) com with to chat, connect, for sewing/quilting custom order requests, questions or feedback.

I’m on Instagram @andpins, Facebook, and Pinterest.

I just ran across your web page. I entered to win the fabric give-a-way, but don’t know if I did it right! Thanks for the pic of the roundandround quilt block. I am starting to quilt mine using your pic as a guide. Your webpage is awesome. I looked back at your older posts and enjoyed them all.

Let me know what you think, I love hearing from my readers! I reply to all comments by email (except on popular giveaway posts).
