Giveaway Day (all week)!

Tis the season for the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day! Beginning today through December 12th I will be joining the hundreds of other blogs, Facebook pages, and Instagram users participating in this great event!

If you are checking in again, welcome back! I am so happy to see you. Please sit and relax for a moment. Can I get you anything?

If you are new to andpins, hello! My name is Elizabeth and I have a thirty+ year old Bernina sewing machine (the lovely 801), a celery Featherweight and a relatively new found love for quilting and a passion for baking, hence the blog name.  This is a space for my work, my musings, favorite recipes and other things I like. I am an active member of the Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild, Baltimore MQG and Southern Comforters Quilt Guild (I moved from Philly to the southern Baltimore suburbs this summer). I am always on the lookout for swaps and bees. Feel free to follow me here or on Instagram. You can see my sewing projects, tutorials, and a few recipes or you can just take a look around as you please, I hope that you like what you find.

Well, enough about me, on to what you really came for, the giveaway! Today I am giving away a really fun set of items that remind me of one of my favorite fabrics, Squared Elements!

andpins_squaredelementsgiftpackThe gift pack includes a blank sketchbook, stack of sticky notes, an ink pen, eight thank you cards plus a fat eighth of Squared Elements in black and a fun pink charm square to round out this awesome prize.

I plan to make a quilt for my sister – I just bought the fabric and need to work out what the design will be… I also want to make an appliqued duvet cover for my toddler’s future big girl bed. As for the third, I’m not sure – those two are rather large projects right now!
