Meet Madison, Amelia, Bernadette, Mia, Ralphio, Chowder, Toby, Cannon and Helen!
Officially my favorite finish of 2013!

Cat_Front_webI made these guys as part of the Cat Quilt-Along (#catvent) with Oh, Fransson! This wallhanging is the first quilt that I was really sad to gift away (I may have to make a variation for myself). It now happily lives with my FIL’s family. I used Architextures and Kona solids and quilted it with matchstick lines using a gray variegated thread.

Every quilt needs a fun back, even a wall hanging! The backing fabric is Geekly Glasses in off white for Riley Blake.

Cat_Back_webWhich cat is your favorite? I think Bernadette is mine.

Very nice! I saw so many people making them. I didn’t take part but I think one block sized right would make a nice mug rug or potholder for a cat loving friend.

Melissa – thank you! A single block is the perfect size for a small mug rug or pot holder. I did a few singles as well.

Let me know what you think, I love hearing from my readers! I reply to all comments by email (except on popular giveaway posts).
