It is finally done (well it has been done since the beginning of August) and I had a moment to take it outside to photograph it. This is my first solo quilt and my first experience with hand tying. I am extremely happy with the way that it turned out. Now that I have one under my belt, quilts are coming together much faster.
Not bad for getting it pieced in February and finally deciding how to actually quilt/tie in July. A huge thanks to Carrie Strine and her magazine Hand and Hand for giving me the instructions and confidence to actually hand tie the quilt.
